DC HealthCheck Provider Curriculum The District of Columbia Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF) in partnership with Georgetown University has developed the free, online HealthCheck Provider Education System for providers who offer well-child care for all children and young adults up to 21 years of age who are living in DC and are covered under Medicaid.
DC HealthCheck Fluoride Varnish Training Provides medical providers and other health providers with knowledge needed to reduce the incidence of dental caries among children ages 3 and under and to contribute to the establishment of a dental home.
DC HealthCheck Mental Health Resources Provides medical providers with information about developmental and behavioral issues in children, including a screening service and assessment component of the health supervision section of HealthCheck visits. Providers can also access local resources to help manage the mental health concerns of patients and their families.
